The Ultimate Fighter 17 Team Jones Vs. Sonnen


The Ultimate fighter has been a lightning rod when it comes to bringing viewers and attention to the world of MMA. The Season 1 Finale Forrest Griffin Vs. Stephen Bonnar was the first MMA bout to ever air on live TV for free at the time. You can now catch all the action on FX. Most recently it was announced that The Ultimate Fighter 17 would be coached by two big names in MMA, Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen.

The Ultimate Fighter was originally picked up by Spike, but moved to FOX's FX after mammoth deal with UFC. Anderson Silva's monstrous win over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 153 prompted immediate speculation as to the future of the best pound for pound fighter in MMA.

MMA Officiating the Good the Bad and the Ugly


In the world of MMA sometimes the officiating is spot on, but sometimes it is severely lacking in accuracy. Pro MMA is at times unfortunately plagued with early stoppages and judging errors, some that have even decided wins going to the wrong fighter. To some this situation with the officials of MMA could even be described as an epidemic crossing state lines and even national borders.
